CHAPTER, BROOKS BIRD CLUB
October 15, 2012
President Jim Smith called the October meeting of
the Handlan Chapter to order, and welcomed those in
attendance. There were 44 persons present.

Triplett will lead a water birding trip to the Falls
on November 3 with November 10 as a rain date.

leaving for the Falls area. Possibility of lunch
afterwards at Glen Ferris Inn.

20 – at South Charleston Library with our own Pat
Barker talking about Panama and her recent travels
to that area.
December 10, 6 pm, at Shoney’s on the Boulevard.
Christmas Bird Count,
December 15 – returning to Morton’s for food and
reminded us that it is time to pay our dues, and
Connie will collect them.
Wood has been working with persons at Ward Hollow
(Dow Center) and will be looking for workers in the
Spring. There was some conversation regarding being
able to use that area for birding and Doug suggested
we contact him and he will help supply names to
